Jade Class had an electrifying day at the Science Museum! They met Michael Faraday (the self-proclaimed 'father of electricity') and enjoyed a fantastic explanation of how electricity works. Some of the children even got to be part of the show. The questions they asked during their time at the museum showed off their recently gained knowledge and understanding of electricity. As always, the journey was a highlight for the children and we even had a mention over the loud speaker of the DLR train, when the passenger service agent commented on our positive behaviour. A wonderful end to a wonderful day.
"Pupils who have special educational needs or disability make good progress in reading, writing and mathematics. This is because pupils are identified effectively and offered the support they need quickly."
