Topaz class have been reading The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch by Rhonda Armitage. In the book the lighthouse keeper and his wife scare off some mischievous seagulls by putting mustard in their sandwiches! We thought we would try some mustard to see what the seagulls were making all the fuss about. Here are some photos of the children's 'mustard faces'. We needed some milk afterwards to cool our mouths down!
"The curriculum is skilfully organised to provide pupils with a wide range of learning activities through themed topics, taking into account the national curriculum."
